Presented by Red Herring Puppets

The Legend of La Befana is a children’s favorite in Italy. It is a story of an old woman who is visited by the magi and leaves her home and cat in search of the Christ-child. Befana travels the world and encounters many new cultures and ideas. She never catches the magical star; but becomes inspired, and spends the rest of her life offering gifts to children who embody the spirit of goodness and hope.

Christmas with Santa is a 45-minute, fast-paced production packed with carols, Santa and Christmas galore! The spirit of the holidays are celebrated in this hysterical Christmas-wrapped comedy–two hilarious elves have misplaced most of Santa’s presents. When Santa arrives he teaches the well-meaning elves that the real gift of the season are the people and friends we celebrate it with.

Almost every culture had tales of wily tricksters. In West Arica they had Anansi the spider, the Native Americans had the fox and in India they used a monkey to spin yarns of mischief and trickery. Attic Salt Theatre Company brings a few of these tales to life. Will the tricksters always come out on top? Or might it be that even the craftiest animals can be bested? Come find out!

This classic tale of growth and wonder has never been so entertaining. Bright Star’s rendition of The Secret Garden is retold by our lovable comic duo Lenny and Mabel. Together, they bring to life the charming characters and lively scenes that make Frances Hodgson Burnett’s story so wonderful. This play is full of lessons about perseverance, believing in yourself and helping those around you. Along with these important lessons, humor and playful moments breathe life into this magical story about transforming the world around us.
