YOUTH THEATRE CLASSES

Asheville Community Theatre offers Youth Production Classes for K-12 students interested in learning the ins and outs of participating in a big production and Broadway Bootcamp for middle and high school students who want to sing, dance, and act. Both types of classes offer a performance component at the end of the series.

For Pre-K and younger children, we offer classes that stimulate creativity and encourage active movement, storytelling, and musical play.

Hey! Hey! Let’s Play!

Hey! Hey! Let’s Play! is designed just for kids ages 3-5!  Children will develop a sense of self and community by building confidence, physical skills, emotional fluency and imagination, while also learning about storytelling, music, movement and the living organism that is “the theatre.” To accomplish these goals, students will play a variety of games, sing songs, listen to and tell stories, and participate in activities and experiences that focus on listening, cooperating, moving, emoting, empathizing, creating and (of course) having FUN!
