ACT is proud to offer a wide range of classes for adults. We invite you to join us to explore, discover, nurture, and refine your theatrical abilities – your stage is waiting. All adult classes are ages 18+.

2025-2026 Classes:

ACT offers financial assistance for our Adult Classes, and we work hard with each individual to make sure that cost is not an obstacle to participation. Scholarship applications will open at the same time registration opens.

Intro to Adult Acting

Mondays 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Learn to fully develop characters, analyze a script, and make strong choices in this class designed for the beginner student. Gain confidence as you work with your fellow classmates and prepare for your next audition!

TUITION: $200

Adult Acting

Tuesdays 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Dive deep into scene work, technique, and character development in this class designed for the experienced student. Gain confidence as you work with your fellow classmates and prepare for your next adventure in the spotlight.

5-6-7-Broadway

Saturdays 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

567BROADWAY! is a cardio & strength training class. Each class is divided into “Act 1” – Broadway Cardio and Strength Training and “Act 2” – Broadway Dance Fitness Choreography. This class celebrates anyone and everyone who loves Broadway. Whether you are a professional performer or a first-time dancer, it does not matter. Most importantly, everyone is a Broadway STAR at 567BROADWAY!

TUITION: DROP IN – $10 per class

Intro to Readers Theatre Workshop

Mondays 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

  • January Session (taught by Ellen Pappas) – January 12, 19 & 26
  • February Session (taught by Jim Reid) – February 9, 16 & 23

Explore and discover this traditional classic style of theatre, where the dramatic reading relies almost entirely on the actors’ voices. Learn to fully analyze a script, characters and plot. Participants will be involved in all aspects of the workshop, with the opportunity to showcase their work at a The Autumn Players general membership meeting. No memorization or prior experience necessary – come jump right in and enjoy yourself!

The Autumn Players bring seasoned talents to the forefront with script-in-hand readings, emphasizing story and character. They present Readers Theatre Showcase shows and host play readings and social events.

TUITION: $45 / session
